Disney have today confirmed that the new Mickey Mouse meet and greet under construction in the Main Street Exposition Hall will feature FASTPASS and an interactive standby queue. This is the first time FASTPASS has been used for a character meet and greet experience. Also confirmed is that the Disney Princesses will be moving over to the new location on Main Street USA until their permanent home in the Princess Fairytale Hall at the new Fantasyland is ready in 2012/2013. Both the Mickey and Princess meet and greets were displaced from Mickey's Toontown Fair which closed earlier this month to begin the transformation into the
new Fantasyland expansion.
The new location is to be called "Town Square Theater", inside the Main Street Exposition Hall.
This matches the revised guide map that we saw a few weeks ago.
Until the new Town Square Theater is ready,
Mickey is currently meeting in Tomorrowland next to Space Mountain (along with some other bonus locations in Hall of Presidents and next to Splash Mountain), and the Princesses are located in the Adventureland Veranda.
