New information about the upcoming Star Wars Land does't come around very often, but today we have some new concept art to gaze at.

The rendering depicts the the land being built at Disneyland in California, but the Disney World version is expected to be similar.

The land will feature two signature rides, a thrilling battle experience, and an attraction that puts guests behind the controls of one of the most recognizable ships in the galaxy, the Millennium Falcon

Visit the WDWMAGIC Forums for Star Wars Land construction talk, and see more Star Wars Land concept art.

Except Luke was not introduced to mass audiences in Return of the Jedi. The movie's first 40 minutes are the end of the previous film. And RotJ Luke is also my least favourite Luke.

Funny thing is the several times I rode Hondo was working perfect, but his droid was either still, or simply turning his head. It wasn't until the last time that I got to see how animated he could be.

If you only knew Luke from "Return of the Jedi" one might think similarly.

Confirmed! Galaxy's Edge to get fountain powered by the broken dreams of fans!

Hondo was there and working 2 weeks ago. That's the newest information I have.

I respect your opinion. I also love Andor. Rouge One is my favorite SW film so I was immediately in love with Andor, the production value doesn't hurt either though.

I tried watching the cartoons, but the characters and writing just seemed like it was aimed at children. And for good reason, because it was. But I watched about 15 episodes and stopped because it felt like homework. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. The problem I had with all of the cartoon characters in Clone Wars was that they never gave the general audience a reason to care about these characters. Fanbois were excited to see Ahsoka and the lady Mando, but if you were just meeting these characters in their live-action debut, you just didn't care. Andor did far more. You don't need to watch Rogue One to enjoy Andor, it just is fantastic and features really great writing/directing/acting. You can't rely on previous stories, especially ones that were aimed at small audiences, to do the legwork for characters.

Ahsoka is my favorite SW character so I guess I’m a little biased, but I think her “stoic” personality is the result of the tragic events of the Clone Wars & Rebels. The siege of mandalore and how it leads into Order 66 is some of the best storytelling in all of Star Wars. I highly recommend watching the animated shows

I actually liked Hondo’s inclusion. Is he actually there again or no?

He's more known, however most of us who didn't watch the cartoons don't know either one. She showed up in Mando and I thought it was some terrible character they created to give Rosario a cameo like Jack Black. At least JB had personality. She was bland as Old Spaghetti Factory bread.

I don’t know if I would say Ahsoka is “unknown”. Way more popular than Hondo and they chose him to headline one of the Galaxy’s Edge attractions

Replacing Hondo with another unknown character from the cartoons?

Mike S2 days ago

Yes, but why Ashoka specifically. If it’s just some kind of test surely they’d just need the bare minimum and no extra fluff like someone’s specific characteristics.

Looks like the idea is for an animatronic to actually pick up a lightsaber and maybe even activate it using the Starcruiser tech. The arm is larger than normal as is often the case with human figures that are meant to be seen at a distance.
