UPDATED: Star Tours closing events beginning on August 14 2010 with hard ticket event

Star Tours will be beginning it's final runs on August 14 2010 with a special hard ticketed event titled 'Last Tour to Endor' from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM. The event features themed party zones, Star Wars Shows, Death Star Disco, and 'Symphony in the Stars' fireworks spectacular. The cost for the event is $75, but it isn't yet clear if August 14 will mark the final day of operation, or just the beginning of the final countdown to closing. Once it is finally closed, work will begin on transforming the ride into Star Tours II 3D.
