Magic Kingdom to honor the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Unit

Marking their centennial year, the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Unit will be appearing for a special celebration at the Magic Kingdom on August 10 2017.

The 82nd Airborne's 16-member Chorus will perform in Liberty Square at 1:45pm, and the Division's brass quintet will perform a medley of patriotic music during a 15-minute concert in Town Square at 4pm.

A special Flag Retreat ceremony will take place at 5pm in Town Square.

Founded during World War I, the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army is in Orlando for a Convention to commemorate their Centennial year in August 2017.

As Vietnam vet I truely appreciate Disney recognizeing those who served and those who are presently serving. To the 82nd airborne you have a long proud history, a thumbs up and a salute to you all.
