The Black Diamond Jet Team will make a fly over of Walt Disney World this evening, May 19.

Part of the 2017 Special Olympics State Summer Games opening ceremony, the flyover will take place just before 8pm at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.

The Black Diamond Jet Team is a civilian-owned aerobatic jet team featuring five L-39s and one T-33, all painted in a distinctive arctic camouflage paint scheme. Piloted by former military fighter pilots from the US Navy and Air Force, the team is based in nearby Lakeland, FL.

Too much potential for collateral damage. TTA and Cosmic Ray's are danger close.

Well.. the L-39 is a ground attack aircraft.. we can only hope.

Cool beans. However, right now the heavens are about to open and I just heard thunder. Will the flyover still happen? Think we'll be able to see it from other areas on property? I admit it, I'm a sucker for flyovers.

What is SGE?

Sonic SunglassesMay 19, 2017

I suppose it's too much to ask for a strike run on SGE...
