LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Christine Weissman has been promoted from chef de cuisine of catering at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Magic Kingdom to executive chef of Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort. In her new role, Weissman oversees a culinary team of 350 and also is involved in the year-round preparations for the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.
Weissman formerly held kitchen positions at Epcot (Germany) and the former Disney Institute, and was part of the opening team at Disneyland Paris. Before joining Disney, she was sous chef at Windows on the World, Cellar in the Sky in New York City.
