Disney's Animal Kingdom to lose a number of character meet and greets, including Jiminy Cricket

It seems that come December, Disney's Animal Kingdom may be losing some of its meet and greets, and with that, one of the classic Disney characters.  Jiminy Cricket and Pocahontas will be leaving Rafiki's Planet watch (Planet Watch is the only place in Walt Disney World where you can meet Jiminy Cricket).  Terk, along with Lilo and Stitch are also set to be removed.  The entertainment cut will also see the end of "The Adventure Begins" welcome show.  These changes coincide with the introduction of a new character lunch offering at Tusker House, which begins on December 4 2011.  No word yet on whether there will be any new additions as replacements, or if they are simply being cut from the line-up.
