Last chance to catch Gi-Tar Dan at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Gi-Tar Dan will be leaving Disney's Animal Kingdom this week, with his final performances on March 11 2016.

You can catch his performances at Rafiki's Planet Watch, with show times of 11am, 12pm, 12:45pm, 1:50pm, 2:50pm and 3:50pm.

Wow. That guy used to help get me through those long Camp Minnie-Mickey shifts. Never actually saw him, but you could hear when he was around.

We'll miss Gi-Tar Dan. We have several of his songs on our trip videos, poking fun at our family members who couldn't make each particular trip. :-) I hope he is able to get a gig elsewhere at WDW, if that's what he'd like.

I always enjoyed catching a Gi-Tar Dan set while in AK. Nice guy and the children liked his songs.

Yes I assume the new Carnivale and Parti would be new entertainment offerings that are indirect offerings https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/attractions/animal-kingdom/animal-kingdom-night/

DAK's entertainment is about to go through a radical change, so I would expect no direct replacement. But the upcoming nighttime offerings from he entertainment dept are pretty extensive.
