PHOTOS - Big Thunder Mountain refurbishment

Here is a latest look at the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad refurbishment that began on January 9 this year. As you can see from the photos, the work is extensive, with many areas of the mountain being worked on, and a large amount of scaffolding already deployed.
Big Thunder's last major refurbishment was back in 2003 (see photos from then). This current refurbishment is set to be completed for a reopening on May 28 2012.
