The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for the Walt Disney World theme park areas until 11 am, May 15, 2024.
Threats include ping pong ball size hail, wind guests up to 70 mph, and tornados.
A weather watch is a precautionary alert that advises of the potential for hazardous weather conditions, while a weather warning is a more urgent notification that dangerous weather is imminent or already happening.
Disney has yet to make any operational changes at Walt Disney World, and all parks are currently planned to operate normally.
