A small section of wall has been removed to reveal a few props. It also appears a new sign, still wrapped, has been installed in front of the railroad station. Discussing lighting is on topic. Posting about Steve Tyler, rave memes, etc. are not.

But lighting designs are within the scope of “details and construction” of the ride, no?? If OT means ‘off topic’, then this caution looks misplaced

Things are getting a little OT again.

Quite literally the greatest post ever on this entire website

Glad they saved the WDSP RnRC lighting. Maybe Mama Odie will have us magically exit the salt mound via Steven Tyler’s mouth.

So Mama Odie is taking you to a Rave?

I'm starting to think the drop won't be obscured as initially thought and instead the mist will be used to diffuse the lighting to create an effect similar to those of moonflower lighting or God rays. Only it'd be facing the riders up the ascent to create a "magical" light tunnel.

the lights with the bottles look like they are just running through their test sequence... doing full spectrum... I am hoping the bottle end up being individually lit indifferent colors... cuz yeah, full spectrum colored lighting is so-o 2010...

Another new video for you guys from last night! Not sure who was on it but they were testing with people and mist sound effects too.

I'm happy to report that this did make the final cut, but is not working correctly at the moment. The entire waterfall/50-foot drop light up as well, which is a bonus from what I was expecting. It's currently not timed correctly, but I'll be sure to post a video as soon as it is. My eyes lit up seeing it and I am very happy it made the final plan.

Maybe they ran out of money towards the end and went to Spencer’s Gifts and Five Below for the lighting effects.
