Disney shared some new pictures of EPCOT's Dreamers Point at this past weekend's Destination D23 event at Walt Disney World.

The Walt Disney statue is being hand-sculpted by Imagineer Scott Goddard in a miniature form.

The model will ultimately be scanned and cast into a bronze life-size statue that will form a new entry point into the heart of EPCOT in a place called Dreamers Point.

No word yet on when Dreamers Point will be built, but Disney has said that the EPCOT redevelopment is planned to be completed during 2023.

I’m hoping that they have the empanada that the Encanto booth has during Festival of the Arts. That is one of my favorite festival foods!

Define festival favorites. Thanks.

I hope none of the VPs have heard of this thus far!!

Can't wait until all the VPs come strolling through and realize what a stupid idea it was to knock down West Communicore and the fountain in the first place.

I think it'll do well. With the sitting areas, some shade and chargers, people will probably want to grab a bite and a drink while there.

Idea A+... Execution of the space... hmmm.... I do think this would be an amazing use for Odyssey.

To each their own.

It’s a constant bombardment of festival food. Sometimes enough is enough

I had heard they’ll have some Colombian food along with the Encanto show this summer. Perhaps it’ll go here.

That's actually a great idea. There are often festival foods that I see people rave about that we never get to try because we don't go during those times. Will be fun to try out some festival foods that we normally wouldn't be able to get.

Here’s an interesting change I noticed recently: they seem to have changed some pieces and colors of all of the charging kiosks located around the World Celebration Gardens for no apparent reason. The first photo is from around the time of opening in December, and the second photo is from today.
