World Celebration walkway closed at EPCOT near Imagination! pavilion

A section of the walkway in EPCOT's World Celebration has gone behind construction walls this week as work continues on the nearby Communicore Hall and Plaza.

The walkway is blocked from the area in front of the Imagination! pavilion that links the Rose Walk to World Nature.

The alternative route is that all guest traffic from the Rose Walk must pass through the center of World Celebration Gardens.

One would assume it’s a mishmash of things that sell really well (ie highest prices/margins) from the 345 days a year of festivals I’m not in love with it…but it’s also not the worst idea ever If they’re smart…big If…they rotate it seasonally to not cross with the festival booths…it’s a good idea. If it’s set stuff and they just push volume…not so much.

I’m hoping that they have the empanada that the Encanto booth has during Festival of the Arts. That is one of my favorite festival foods!

Define festival favorites. Thanks.

I hope none of the VPs have heard of this thus far!!

Can't wait until all the VPs come strolling through and realize what a stupid idea it was to knock down West Communicore and the fountain in the first place.

I think it'll do well. With the sitting areas, some shade and chargers, people will probably want to grab a bite and a drink while there.

Idea A+... Execution of the space... hmmm.... I do think this would be an amazing use for Odyssey.

To each their own.

It’s a constant bombardment of festival food. Sometimes enough is enough

I had heard they’ll have some Colombian food along with the Encanto show this summer. Perhaps it’ll go here.

That's actually a great idea. There are often festival foods that I see people rave about that we never get to try because we don't go during those times. Will be fun to try out some festival foods that we normally wouldn't be able to get.
