Oh jeez. My brain has been so rotted by the last few hundred pages that I saw that typo and thought the weather vane was being brought up again. :hungover: Holy crap! You did it! You figured out a way to incorporate the friends on the other side without trying to explain Facilier escaping their wrath! Ray's come back from the other side with them and he's piiiiiiissed! :hilarious:

OK, now it’s all making sense to me - it’s a clear synergy tie-in!

Yep, the very same poses! Otherwise, the bear would be balancing on one leg while standing on the top of a mount---er, salt mound.

Maybe they are saving the main characters for the 3 Dimension frame you can purchase like the ones posted above. Not sure what the market is like for physical frames in the digital age. Are the bear and rabbit in the exact same poses/looks as the concept art they released? Wonder if the other concept art characters can appear and they are randomized to add a Hitchhiking Ghost aspect. "Oh look, we got the Otter this time!"

LOL. Aw man, Dig a Little Deeper has a whole new meaning now.

The presence or absence of villains isn’t what determines whether an attraction is juvenile. There have been plenty of scare-filled “kiddie rides” over the years. Splash was very much a family ride, with cross-generational appeal. I hope TBA continues that tradition.

"Don't matter what you look like! ... Don't even matter what you are!" Mama Odie is very open-minded.

Let's talk about this ride photo, shall we? This is the representation of the characters on the ride photo? We could have had Tiana, Louis, or Mama Odie, and instead we've got the same concept art of critters cut-and-pasted clumsily standing atop the cliff with their instruments. And then there's this guy: Multiple people on this forum predicted "I know a shortcut" would be used as the justification for the drop, and sure enough, here it is. Thank God Figment-lite (or should I say "light") is here with his "royal we" to show us the way. My hope: the sign is actually a trick by Ray's family to try to kill us all in retribution for Ray's death, but Mama Odie swoops in at the last minute and saves us. See how desperate I am for some stakes in this attraction?

We don’t know that. I heard a rumor that we find out that Mama Odie has Tinder on the lift hill and when she swipes right your Magic Band + will glow red as you pass by her.

Tiana has picked up your psychic emanations regarding the poster and she got out of the way of the drop lest someone think she was luring children to a dreadful fright (despite the minimum height restriction still being in place).... click to animate

It seems like I was conflating two memories, the artwork ON the frame and how the ride photo looked when IN the frame. Here are examples of why I remembered the thrill aspect being played up on the ride photo. Disney could very well still be planning to have such frames and ideas for sale on frames to fit the new ride photo. I won't know that until the ride is open.

The previous ride had the villain literally trying to catch, murder, and consume the protagonist. I don’t think we need to wait until 6/28 to know this current version is significantly more juvenile in tone, tension, and drama. Besides, the giant princess tiara outside should have told you. Br’er Fox: Well, Br’er Rabbit, I expect I’ll just have to skin ya! Well, now, Br’er Rabbit, maybe I’ll just have to roast ya! You know, Br’er Rabbit, I think I’ll have to hang ya!
